Malacca Butterfly Park

The butterflies and moths form one of the largest orders of insects numbering 100,000 species or more. The scientific name of the group is Lepidoptera. It comes from two Greek words meaning "scale" and "wing".

Crown Prince Naruhito (Kōtaishi Naruhito Shinnō), born 23 February 1960, had once visited the Malacca Butterfly Park.
